Bringing generations together is what makes TIGP unique in addressing many of today’s social, cultural and health issues.

Sponsorship of our intergenerational programs, helps TIGP to:

  • Create a safer and healthier community by providing linkages in the community using an intergenerational approach
  • Decrease isolation
  • Improve access to information through education and awareness
  • Decrease barriers to participation
  • Improve quality of life of participants
  • Create intergenerational harmony
  • Encourage community building through volunteering
  • Provide opportunities for lifelong learning/skills development
  • Provide youth with an opportunity to gain community service experiences

  • Seniors in Cyberspace and Families in Cyberspace
  • Health and Wellness
  • Congregate Dining
  • Memory/Storytelling
  • Seniors Assistance Home Maintenance (SAHM)
  • Intergenerational Volunteer Program
  • Intergenerational Youth Clubs
  • Special theme events, including - CultureFest, Community Gardening, Chinese New Year, Heritage Day, Health & Wellness Fairs, Community Service Volunteer Fairs, Intergenerational Day Canada and more!
