Kate Mossop recently graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology. She also holds a diploma in Activation Coordination from George Brown College where she was on the Dean’s List and a recipient of the Toby Issacs George Brown Seniors Association Award for her commitment to working with older adults. Kate works at the City of Toronto’s Castleview Wychwood Towers Long-Term Care Home as a Recreationist. Kate completed her field placements at Nisbet Lodge and Toronto Intergenerational Partnerships where she gained experience working with frail and active seniors. Kate's philosophy is to encourage all to engage fully in what life has to offer with enthusiasm.Kate joined the board in 2016 and looks forward to continuing to serve on the TIGP Board of Directors again this year!
